The idea for the Studio Romeo brand arose after founder Jeanne Dieuzaide gave birth to Romeo, her son. Jeanne discovered that there were no practical alternatives to strollers, except for bulky baby carriers and tangled, very long wraps. Living on the third floor of a building without an elevator, she dreamed of a solution. During her second pregnancy, she began developing a new baby carrier concept. The resulting carrier consisted of two straps that slide on either side of the shoulders. The advantage of this design was the absence of knots or unnecessary fasteners. Another advantage of Studio Romeo products is the speed of putting them on. The products are made of materials free of chemicals. A clever, practical solution combining comfort and safety for children.

In this way, Jeanne has made life easier for thousands of mothers and children. This simple product has made Jeanne a specialist in babywearing, and her company is constantly growing. New solutions are being created with both baby and parent comfort, safety, and proper child development in mind. Studio Romeo baby carriers are made of 100% organic cotton, sourced from ecologically sustainable, pesticide-free farms. Because babies' skin is so sensitive, all products are manufactured in accordance with the Oeko-Tex 100 label's chemical-free requirements. Only natural, water-based dyes are used to color the fabrics.

All Studio Romeo products meet safety standards (NF EN and US ASTM) and are designed with children's psychomotor development in mind. Studio Romeo carriers are also approved by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.
